YOGA

ESSENTIAL MORNING PRACTICE

Set the tone of your day with breath work, asanas and meditation. Moving energy in the morning can stabilize your mood and clear negative thoughts starting your day with a positive mindset.

By actively working on the physical body and the energetic body to equalize the mind you can go deeper into your intuition to create a stronger you.

With the bodywork in this practice you’ll feel an increase in your range of motion by correcting imbalances in your body.

VINYASA

Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga that is practiced linking the conscious breath with dynamic fluid movement. A number of Yoga postures (asanas) are linked together in a unique sequence, so no two classes are ever alike.

There are many great benefits that arise with a regular Vinyasa practice:

  • Enhance core stability
  • Build muscle strength
  • Improve mobility and range of motion
  • Keep your heart healthy and strengthen your immune system
  • Calm the mind and reduce stress
  • Boost mood
  • Improve sleep
  • Stabilize and regulate emotions
  • Increase lung capacity
  • Burn calories
  • Increase focus and memory

SURF YOGA

Many yoga poses require balance and connection with breath, focus and strength to achieve stability in the postures. Being able to master this in yoga allows surfers to improve their balance and focus when riding the waves, as well as being more flexible to increase comfort on the board.

The lower back, shoulders, arms and core are key, and this yoga class helps to strength and recover these points.

Here at 360 we have seen first-hand the multitude of beneficial links between the practices of yoga and surfing. The two just seem to be made for one another, which is why we think the board and the mat should meet.

If you are someone who is interested in learning how to surf or improve your skills in the water, then you should seriously consider hitting the yoga mat when you’re not in the water. Yoga has so many physical benefits that transfer to learning other sports like surfing – improved balance, coordination, strength, flexibility, and range of motion, to name just a few.

YIN YOGA

This slower-paced, more meditative type of yoga involves holding poses for longer periods to target connective tissues (such as ligaments) rather than focusing on the muscles.
Discover deep sensations in your body and experience a profound awareness of your internal landscape.

This class is all about simplicity and sensation building connection to the simplest essence of the present moment.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation but find your mind is sometimes restless or cluttered, YIN YOGA is for you. Bring your mind, body and energy back into balance.
